Jan Brett’s Winter Wonderland Tour

Best of Books and Belle Isle Library have partnered to host the acclaimed, #1 New York Times bestselling author-illustrator, Jan Brett’s Winter Wonderland Tour at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Penguin Young Readers Group is thrilled to be sending Jan Brett on her first national tour in four years to meet fans!  Brett will travel across country via tour bus wrapped in artwork from her books to visit 23 markets from November 24 to December 10 and she is stopping in Oklahoma City on December 7 at the Belle Isle Library! 

With over 44 million books in print, Jan Brett is one of the nation's foremost author illustrators of children's books. Her colorful, detailed depictions of a wide variety of animals and human cultures range from Scandinavia to Africa. Her titles include Gingerbread Baby, Cozy In Love, The Nutcracker, The Twelve Days of Christmas and more wintery stories you can find at the event.

The new Jan Brett Winter Collection box set releasing October 10, 2023 will also be available at the Winter Wonderland Tour event. The Winter Collection will include Cozy, The Hat, The Snowy Nap, and The Three Snow Bears. Preorder your Winter Collection Box Set below for pick up at the event.

Jan Brett will be giving a presentation and drawing demonstration. Jan Brett's books will be for sale by Best of Books and a book signing will follow the presentation. Take pictures with the Winter Wonderland Bus, meet Hedgie the Hedgehog and Spotticus the Library Dog and enjoy hot chocolate and winter crafts!

This event is free and open to all to attend. To join the signing line and meet Jan Brett, you may purchase any of her books at the event or preorder below and select “in store pick up” and your books will be available to pick up at the event! Attendees will be given signing line numbers according to when the order is placed. While ordering ahead will move you higher in the line order, purchasing at the event will still get you a place in line!
